As with any traditional publishing company, if your work is accepted, we may request minor changes; for instance, we're fussy about titles, and are still shocked when someone submits something titled “Untitled.”
We've never met a writer who didn't have a preference about their book cover. If you've got ideas, we want to hear them. We'd love to have our book match your vision. If you're not sure, we're glad to help. That's part of what we do.
Once your book is finished, we'll send you ten copies to distribute as you please. All additional copies will be sold to you for half the retail plus shipping. Our chapbooks usually sell for $10, so you will make $5 on each copy you sell.
We'll write a press release with reviews and purchasing information for you to forward to your friends and colleague. If you'd prefer to have the press release come from us, send us their addresses and we'll do a mailing for you.
Your book will be registered and assigned an ISBN, and can be sold in any retail store.
Your book will be displayed in the Newton Writers and Poets Center, available for purchase on our web site, and posted at The Chapbook Store.
