Boston Literary Magazine will close to submissions on December 10, 2020

Send ONE poem or short fiction (word limit is 250) in the body of the email (we don't open attachments.) We love beautifully-written narratives with a strong sense of character, and evocative language. If your submission has more than one poem or story, is descriptive, has typos, is in a foreign language, or has been previously published in print or online, we will pass. In order to maintain our reputation as the magazine with the fastest response time (usually within a week), we may send a form rejection -- please do not let this hurt your feelings or discourage you from trying us again. We're looking forward to reading you!!
